Upper Limb Prosthesis
An Upper extremity prosthesis can be either Cosmetic, Mechanically or Myoelectrically Controlled, depending on the patient’s requirement & muscle power of the residual limb. A Cosmetic Hand is Moreover a dress hand which does not have any function and is purely used for cosmetic appearance. A Mechanical Hand is operated on a spring mechanism, which allows the opening & closing of the hand when a cable harness worn on the patient’s body is pulled and released.
Lower Limb Prosthesis
A wide range of options is available for amputation Below-knee & Above Knee Level. Various options with respect to Foot, Knee, Hip & Socket designs are available as per individual patient requirements. A thorough patient assessment is done before deciding the type of prosthesis. Patient’s age, Activity Level, Nature of Work, Length of the residual limb, Muscle power, Skin condition, and other physiological parameters like diabetic condition etc. is considered before deciding the type of prosthesis for the patient.
Orthotics
“Beautiful Orthoses with a Purpose” The orthosis is a device that supports any weak part of the body, certain post-operative orthoses help in speedy recovery of the injury. An orthosis can be as simple as a cervical collar (neck collar) or as dynamic as an AFO (Ankle Foot Orthosis). Normally An Orthosis gets its name by the part or parts of the body it supports, e.g., Knee Orthotics, HKAFO (Hip, Knee, Ankle, Foot, Orthotics).

Footcare
The foot is the foundation of the human body at the same time it is the most neglected part of the body, we Prosthetists and Orthotist have witnessed many lower limb amputations which could have been avoided with proper and timely foot care.
Children and many active adults experience various foot problems like foot & ankle pain, heel pain, flat feet, pain in the arch (plantar fasciitis), and Heel Spur. A well-fitted custom-made Arch support solves most of the aforesaid problems. We also Provide custom-made Diabetic footwear for diabetic patients.
