Dr. Kavitha Panchal

Our P&O team is led by Ms. Kavitha Panchal, a Gold Medallist Prosthetist & Orthotist from the prestigious All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (A.I.I.P.M.R) Mumbai. She graduated from the institute in the year 2005. A.I.I.P.M.R is a Pioneer institute in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is an RCI Licensed Prosthetist & Orthotist. 

Having more than 16 years of experience in the field, she started her professional career at a German-based MNC in Mumbai, where she served as a Prosthetist & Orthotist.

Her next assignment was as a Senior P&O in Sheikh Rashid Hospital Dubai, UAE. Rashid Hospital is a government hospital in Dubai, UAE. During this stint, she had the opportunity to attend to patients from across the globe which enhanced her knowledge and experience. She undertook various Kinds of Prosthetic Fitting and Lower Limb and Spinal Orthosis.

She then shifted her base back to India where she worked As Senior P&O in a Private P&O centre, named PALFIC (Panchal Limb Fitting Centre) in Navsari, Gujarat. She was also one of the Managing Partners there. This clinic is based in South Gujarat and caters to patients from different parts of Gujarat and from Mumbai, Maharashtra.

She is an active member of I.A.A.T (Indian Association of Assistive Technologists), and is currently the Treasurer of the organization. She is also one of the P&O Consultants & Mentors to Robo Bionics, which is formed by a few IIT Patna Alumni, who have come up with breakthrough technology in Prosthetic hands.
